Blue House Veterinary Centre in Biddulph is seeking a part-time Receptionist for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will be the first point of contact, delivering a welcoming, professional experience while managing appointments and inquiries.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Blue House Vets on a part-time fixed term basis covering 6 months.

Blue House Veterinary Centre Blue House Veterinary Centre, part of Inspiring Vet Care is a long-established, single site small animal practice in Biddulph, Staffordshire. A team of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Veterinary Nurses, 5 Veterinary Client Care Advisors and a Practice Manager make up a friendly/family feel team. We have beautiful, spacious premises with a large staff room equipped with fridge, freezer, coffee, and toasty maker and even a massage chair. We have gardens to enjoy breaks outside, plus a pool table & exercise machine. We pride ourselves on our level of care and have a good reputation locally. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• The rota involves working on average 30-40 hours per week, ideally 3/4 full days (this is open for discussion). There will be 2-3 Saturdays (8am-1.30pm) required on a 6-week rota.
