Job description

Exclusive opportunity to join a growing, founder-led facilities management services business in a client leadership role, with ownership of a high-profile, multi-site client account.

The role focuses on leading a complex client operation covering building services, compliance and safety, ensuring strong relationships, consistent service delivery and clear commercial control. Working alongside experienced technical leaders, the Client Account Director will act as the primary point of ownership for how the account operates day to day.

Through calm, structured and commercially confident leadership, the role supports a stable, high-performing client partnership aligned to the organisation’s standards and long-term growth plans.

You might come from:
  • Facilities management, property or engineering-led services background, leading complex client accounts or contracts; or
  • Professional services, outsourcing or agency environment, where you have owned senior client relationships, managed delivery teams and been accountable for commercial outcomes.
Hybrid working – mix of client sites and remote working
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a major client account within a facilities management environment, with accountability for service delivery and commercial performance.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders as a consistent point of contact.
  • Oversee multi-site operations, setting clear standards, structure and expectations.
  • Own the account’s financial performance, including budgets, reporting and governance around scope changes.
  • Represent the business in client meetings, reviews and escalations with clarity and credibility.
  • Partner closely with technical and operational leaders to align delivery with client expectations.
  • Embed a strong culture of safety, compliance and risk awareness across teams and suppliers.
  • Drive continuous improvement across service delivery, efficiency and commercial outcomes.
  • Produce clear performance updates covering delivery, risks and financial position.
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in client-facing account, contract or operational leadership roles within complex, service-led or multi-site environments.
  • Strong commercial judgement, with confidence owning budgets and discussing performance with clients.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships across complex organisations.
  • Comfortable leading through others in delivery-focused or regulated settings.
  • Calm, credible and structured, with sound judgement under pressure.
  • Collaborative, values-led and committed to high standards of delivery and partnership.
