Job description

Job Title: Administrative Support Role at NHS Lanarkshire

You will provide comprehensive administrative services to the medical and nursing teams within the ward environment, ensuring high-quality support for staff. Your responsibilities include exchanging information with patients and staff regarding admissions, transfers, and discharges, both verbally and in written format.

What We Need From You
  • Good basic education
  • Understanding of office procedures
  • Proficiency in software systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, diplomacy, and discretion
  • Flexibility to work unsociable hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Legal right to work in the UK

Note: For roles requiring a driving license, a full UK/EU/EEA license is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

NHS clerical or relevant administrative experience, knowledge of processes and procedures, and working knowledge of Trak Care.

Contract Details

Type: Permanent

Full-time, 37 hours per week

Location and Working Pattern

Based at Medical A&C, University Hospital Monklands. The specific working pattern will be confirmed by the hiring manager. Applicants may be considered for similar roles in other locations.
