NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, extending to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
This is a fixed-term post for 12 months. Please note the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
The shift pattern for this position is:
To support effective clinical care by providing an efficient Health Records service to patients, medical, and nursing staff. Ensure patient appointments for outpatient clinics, day cases, and inpatient admissions are accurately administered and processed. Maintain patient confidentiality, ensure records are securely stored, and are accessible when needed.
To support clinical care by providing administrative, clerical, and receptionist services. Maintain electronic and paper-based patient records, ensuring information is confidential, accurate, and up-to-date. Continually check and update patient demographic and administrative data within the patient management system.
Please note this is a GGC-wide post and may be relocated, with the initial base at RHC.
