NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.
This is a Fixed-term post for 6 months.
The shift pattern is Monday, 10:00-18:00.
The role involves supporting effective clinical care by providing an efficient Health Records service, ensuring patient appointments are accurately administered, and maintaining confidentiality and security of health records. You will also provide administrative, clerical, and receptionist services, maintaining electronic and paper-based patient records, and updating patient demographic and administrative data regularly.
This post is GGC-wide and may be relocated, with the initial base at the Royal Hospital for Children. The closing date may be earlier depending on application interest.
