The NEC Group Contract comprises 5 venues within Birmingham: NEC, The Vox, Resorts World Arena, Utilita Arena Birmingham, and The ICC. OCS provides soft services to all venues, including security, stewarding, cleaning, waste management, estates, and front of house.

This role will be focused at The NEC Venue (B40 1NT), supporting the supervisor of the day cleaning team for exhibitions and live events.

Main Duties:

• Ensure Cleaning Team Members follow Company Standards and H&S Measures, including SSOW & PPE.
• Carry out cleaning activities to the highest standards.
• Store, clean, and maintain company equipment to the highest standard.
• Represent the NEC, ensuring all visitors experience high levels of customer service.
• Follow reporting and safety processes diligently.
• Produce and communicate a safe system of work to workers before shifts/activities commence.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

• Experience in cleaning large venues/spaces is desirable.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Self-motivated with the ability to motivate colleagues and direct reports.
• Professional communication skills at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain high standards.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
