Job summary

ABM is seeking a shift administrator to manage daily shift operations, supervise team members, and ensure high cleaning standards. The role involves audits, return-to-work interviews, holiday management, and administrative duties across records and communications.

You will contribute to health and safety compliance, handle absence processes, and support disciplinary and investigation activities while maintaining confidential records and efficient documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cleaning operations and ensuring standards.
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
• Experience writing professional emails and correspondence.
• Experience handling confidential information and personnel records.
• Knowledge of disciplinary and grievance procedures and return-to-work processes.
• Familiarity with document control and reporting practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Shift management duties: assign jobs, check completed work, audit via the Element app, manage holidays.
• Handle absence management, record keeping, investigations, disciplinary support, and document control.
• Oversee upkeep of cleaning cupboards and equipment; conduct weekly checks and ensure health and safety standards.
