Job summary

ABM UK is seeking experienced cleaning operatives in Bournemouth for a 20-hour-per-week night shift (20:00–12:00, Mon–Fri). The role includes cleaning washrooms, floors, kitchens, and common areas, with ABM uniform provided and safety standards emphasized.

Previous supervisor experience is a plus, and background checks will be conducted. You will join a team that values attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience essential
• Background checks and eligibility verification required
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Physically fit for active role

Responsibilities

• Washrooms / Toilet / Showers; maintain standards and top up consumables
• Hard floor cleaning; spot cleaning; clean spillages
• Carpet spot cleaning and vacuuming
• Clean Kitchenettes / seating areas / restaurant tables and floors / waste removal
• Reception / lifts / entrance doors / general maintenance of standards
• Dusting and keeping corridors, stairs, meeting rooms and offices clean
• Touch point cleaning and laundry duties as required
• Scrub hard floors with rotary machine or scrubber dryer
• Carpet cleaning with carpet machine if needed
