Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead on-site cleaners, liaise with clients and managers, and ensure health, safety and high hygiene standards are maintained. You will train new staff, manage supplies, and address issues to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires COSHH knowledge, strong communication, and reliable leadership. On-site weekend shifts support early morning patterns at our key retail sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable people skills or experience coordinating a team (on-site).
• Understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety compliance on similar sites/environments.
• Experience in training and inducting colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Be the clients’ and managers’ main point of contact on site.
• Coordinate and drive a team on site, while completing core cleaning duties.
• Support the manager with training and induction of new staff and training records.
• Lead by example, following safety procedures and method statements.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are performed to a high standard and conduct regular quality inspections.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment and maintain them in good condition.
• Address operational issues to maintain smooth site operations.
