Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor to oversee a retail store in Telford. The role requires leading a cleaning team, maintaining high standards, and taking ownership of the site's operation on early-morning shifts.

The position offers 25 hours per week, five days, with early shifts (5:00am–10:00am) and a permanent contract. An experienced candidate will ensure the store is ready for trading daily and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Cleaning Supervisor or Team Leader in retail or similar environments.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and cleaning best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations within the store.
• Lead, motivate and support the cleaning team.
• Ensure areas are cleaned to required standards and quality checked.
• Manage staff attendance and cover, coordinate training for new starters.
• Maintain stock and order consumables as needed.
• Uphold Health & Safety procedures and store presentation.
