Responsibilities

• Supervising the daily cleaning operation within the store.
• Leading, motivating and supporting the cleaning team.
• Ensuring all areas are cleaned to the required standard.
• Carrying out regular quality checks and inspections.
• Managing staff attendance and ensuring adequate cover.
• Supporting the training and development of new starters.
• Monitoring cleaning standards and addressing any issues quickly.
• Managing cleaning stock and ordering consumables where required.
• Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Building positive working relationships with store management.
• Taking ownership of the overall presentation and cleanliness of the store.

Permanent Opportunity – Cleaning Supervisor – Telford – £13.75 per hour

Looking for a part-time supervisory role where you can take ownership of a site, lead a cleaning team and enjoy consistent early morning hours?

We’re currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operation within a retail store in Telford.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor or Cleaning Team Leader who is looking for a permanent, part-time position with consistent hours, a supportive management team and the responsibility of maintaining high cleaning standards within a busy retail environment.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day cleaning operation, supporting the cleaning team and ensuring the store is presented to a high standard ready for trading each day.

Your Role

About You

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is confident overseeing a cleaning team.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor, Cleaning Team Leader or similar
• Experience managing or supervising cleaning teams
• Strong people‑management and leadership skills
• High standards with excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational and communication skills
• A good understanding of Health & Safety and cleaning best practices
• The confidence to take ownership of a site and deal with day-to‑day operational issues
