Thorn Baker Facilities Management is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for a retail store in Telford. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day cleaning operation, leading the team, and maintaining high standards to ensure the store is ready for trading each day.

This permanent, part-time position offers early shift hours from 5:00am to 10:00am, 25 hours per week across five days, with a supportive management team and opportunities to take ownership of the cleaning operation.

Formación

• Experience as Cleaning Supervisor or Cleaning Team Leader
• Experience managing cleaning teams
• High standards with attention to detail
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Proactive hands-on approach

Responsabilidades

• Supervising the daily cleaning operation within the store
• Leading, motivating and supporting the cleaning team
• Ensuring all areas are cleaned to the required standard
• Carrying out regular quality checks and inspections
• Managing staff attendance and ensuring adequate cover
• Supporting the training and development of new starters
• Monitoring cleaning standards and addressing issues quickly
• Managing cleaning stock and ordering consumables where required
• Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Building positive working relationships with store management
• Taking ownership of the overall presentation and cleanliness of the store
