Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee on-site operations, ensure impeccable cleanliness, and manage daily activities within the cleaning team. You will be the primary contact for site management and coordinate task delivery with emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires coordinating a team, training new staff, and maintaining training records while upholding COSHH and health & safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Demonstrable people skills or experience coordinating a team.
• Experience cleaning in a similar environment or transferable skills.
• Understanding of COSHH and H&S compliance on similar sites/environments.
• Experience in training and inducting colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Be the client’s/manager’s main on-site contact.
• Coordinate and drive a team on site, while performing core cleaning duties.
• Support the manager with training and induction of new staff and maintain training records.
• Lead by example, following safe systems of work and method statements.

About The Role:

Working Pattern

Monday-Thursday 06:00-15:00 Friday- 06:00-11:00

Are you passionate about maintaining cleanliness and ensuring impeccable standards in a busy site?

As a Cleaning Supervisor you will oversee the effective supervisory and safety concerns when it comes to daily operations on site within the cleaning team.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• To be the clients/Managers main point of contact on site
• To co-ordinate and drive a team on site, whilst completing core cleaning duties with the team
• To support the manager with the training and induction of new staff, and the completion of training records
• To lead by example when completing task, following the safe systems of work and method statements
