Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment is seeking a reliable Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team of 8 cleaners in Birmingham, overseeing both airside and landside operations. The role is hands-on, with a focus on maintaining high cleaning standards, safety, and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. 12-hour shift pattern applies (6:00am–6:00pm).

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning supervisory or team leader experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and support a team.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to high cleaning standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern.
• Experience in an airport or other security-sensitive environment would be advantageous.

Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team of 8 cleaners in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations across both

airside and landside areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety and service are consistently maintained.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous cleaning or supervisory experience who enjoys leading a team and working in a fast-paced environment.
