Westbourne Academy in Ipswich is seeking a part-time Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated team. The role covers day-to-day cleaning and sanitisation of the building with Health & Safety compliance at all times. Term-time only plus 2 (41 weeks per year), 23.5 hours per week, with a pro rata salary from £14,710 per year.

To succeed, you will have previous experience in a similar environment with basic cleaning methods and the use of equipment. You will have a good standard of literacy and numeracy and the ability to work on your own initiative and within a team. We are keen to secure a positive Cleaning Operative who can make a telling contribution to our team. The department is part of a well led, mutually supportive cleaning team and the appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by a Catering Supervisor.
