Mildenhall College Academy is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to perform daily cleaning and sanitisation across our facilities, while upholding Health & Safety standards. The role supports a dynamic, high-achievement environment for our students.

The ideal candidate will have experience in similar settings, basic cleaning techniques, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Term-time hours and DBS checks are part of the requirements.

• Previous experience in a similar environment with basic cleaning methods and the use of equipment.

About this Role

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 23.75hours per week / 39 weeks per year (Term time only) / Monday to Friday, 1:00pmto 5:45pm.

Scale: NJC 3

Actual Salary: £14,141 per annum / FTE Salary: £25,614 perannum

Mildenhall College Academy arelooking to appoint an individual to undertake day to day cleaning andsanitisation of the building and facilities, always ensuring Health & Safety compliance. The successful candidate will join our academy which isdynamic and inspiring, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst ourstudents. To succeed, you will have previous experience in a similarenvironment with basic cleaning methods and the use of equipment. You willhave a good standard of literacy and numeracy and the ability to work on yourown initiative and within a team. We are keen to secure a positiveCleaning Operative who can make a telling contribution to our team. Thedepartment is part of a well led, mutually supportive cleaning team and theappointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will besupported by a Catering Supervisor, and strong SLT.
