Westbourne Academy in Ipswich is hiring a part-time Cleaning Operative (10 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks). The role supports a dynamic academy environment, focusing on daily cleaning, sanitisation, and safety compliance within a diverse school community.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated team, contribute to a culture of high standards, and be part of the Academy Transformation Trust network. DBS required and on-site work is expected.
Competenze
- Previous experience in a similar environment with basic cleaning methods and the use of equipment.
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and within a team.

- Undertake day-to-day cleaning and sanitisation of the building and facilities.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times.
- Support the Catering Supervisor and work collaboratively with colleagues.

We are keen to secure a positive Cleaning Operative who can make a telling contribution to our team. The department is part of a well led, mutually supportive cleaning team and the appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by a Catering Supervisor.
