This temporary role involves maintaining cleanliness, ensuring safety, and compliance with health protocols. The candidate must have experience in a commercial cleaning environment and a DBS certificate. Pay is £12.21 per hour with ongoing shifts from Monday to Friday.

• Proven track record in cleaning within a commercial environment.
• Ability to work to a timescale as agreed with Supervisor/Manager.
• Compliance with relevant health & safety practices is essential.
• Must act in a professional manner and be honest and reliable.
• Safety boots and a DBS certificate are needed.

• Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed.
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
• Carrying out deep cleans during school holidays.

Cleaning Operative – Sunderland – FM Service Provider – £12.21 per hour

CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for a reliable and dedicated Cleaning Operative to join a friendly primary school in Sunderland on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Details / Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 15:00pm to 18:00pm
• Ongoing contract
• Start date - 23rd of September

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, toilets, corridors, and shared areas to a high standard
• Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
• Carrying out deep cleans during school holidays, especially in August
• Following health and safety and infection control protocols
• Reporting any maintenance or hygiene concerns to site management

Qualifications

• Have a proven track record in cleaning within a commercial environment
• To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor/Manager
• Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices
• To always act in a professional manner
• Be honest, reliable, and hard working
• Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Safety boots needed
• DBS certificate needed
