Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Factory Cleaning Operative at Mars Wrigley, Slough, to maintain GMP-compliant cleanliness across the manufacturing area. You will follow SOPs, operate cleaning equipment, and support the facilities management team with a proactive approach.

You will work 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm. Training is provided, and opportunities for career development and employer benefits are available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across allocated areas.
• Follow work instructions and SOPs.
• Complete cleaning checklists and ensure sign-off.
• Regularly inspect cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Report faults or defects to Supervisor.
• Adhere to GMP, hygiene, food safety and Health & Safety rules.
• Report hazards or risks to Supervisor.
• Follow site procedures and GMP requirements.
• Collaborate with Mars associates and site colleagues.
• Attend training sessions to develop skills.
• Support wider Sodexo Facilities Management team with proactive approach.
• Wear PPE and follow instructions.
• Work toward targets and maintain standards.
• Comply with company, client and statutory requirements.

Factory Cleaning Operative | Mars Wrigley, Dundee Road , Slough, SL1 4LG

Join Sodexo as a Factory Cleaning Operative at Mars Wrigley in Slough, where you'll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across the GMP manufacturing area.

Working to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and site procedures, you'll play an important role in ensuring the factory environment remains clean, safe and compliant.

You'll need a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach and a strong can-do attitude. Full training will be provided to make sure you're confident with the procedures, equipment and responsibilities of the role.

What you'll do

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across your allocated areas
• Follow relevant work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Complete required cleaning checklists and ensure they are signed off
• Carry out regular checks of cleaning equipment and machinery
• Report any equipment faults or defects to your Supervisor
• Follow all GMP, hygiene, food safety and Health & Safety requirements
• Report hazards or potential risks to your Supervisor
• Follow site procedures and stringent GMP requirements
• Work effectively with Mars associates, colleagues, supervisors and suppliers
• Communicate regularly with other members of the cleaning team and site colleagues
• Attend training sessions and develop your knowledge and skills
• Support the wider Sodexo Facilities Management team with a proactive, can-do approach
• Wear the required PPE and follow all relevant working instructions
• Work towards agreed targets and maintain required standards
• Comply with company, client and statutory requirements
