Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cleaning Operative at Mars Wrigley in Slough to maintain high cleanliness standards in the GMP manufacturing area. Full training will be provided and you’ll follow strict GMP procedures.

The role involves working 24 hours weekly, Saturdays and Sundays 7am-7pm, with onsite parking and career development opportunities. You’ll be part of a team ensuring hygiene and safety across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Ability to follow strict procedures and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness within your assigned areas.
• Follow relevant work instructions and SOPs.
• Regularly check cleaning equipment and report faults.
• Adhere to GMP, hygiene, food safety and Health & Safety procedures.
• Report hazards to your supervisor promptly.
• Follow internal procedures and GMP requirements.
• Work with Mars associates, colleagues, supervisors and suppliers.
• Attend training sessions and develop knowledge and skills.
• Communicate daily with the cleaning team and other staff.
• Support the wider Sodexo Facilities Management team.
• Ensure company, client and statutory requirements are followed.
• Use PPE as directed and in line with procedures.
• Work towards agreed targets and standards.

Join Sodexo as a Cleaning Operative at Mars Wrigley in Slough, where you'll play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the GMP manufacturing area.

Working to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and established procedures, you'll help ensure the factory environment meets the required hygiene, food safety, health and safety standards.

You'll need a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach and a willingness to follow stringent procedures and timelines. Full training will be provided to help you understand the required processes and responsibilities.

What you'll do

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness within your assigned areas
• Follow relevant work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Carry out regular checks of cleaning equipment and machinery and report any faults or defects
• Follow GMP, hygiene, food safety and Health & Safety procedures
• Report hazards and potential dangers to your supervisor
• Follow internal operating procedures and strict GMP requirements
• Work effectively with Mars associates, colleagues, supervisors and suppliers
• Attend training sessions and develop your knowledge and skills
• Communicate daily with members of the cleaning team, other staff and customers
• Work proactively to support the wider Sodexo Facilities Management team
• Ensure company, client and statutory requirements are followed
• Use PPE as directed and in line with working instructions and procedures
• Work towards agreed targets and standards
