Job summary

Sodexo Ltd at the Mars site in Birstall is seeking an Industrial Cleaner for a part-time, weekend role. This hands-on position starts with 10 hours per week, with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 7:00am to 12:00pm.

You will perform industrial, factory and high-level cleaning across production areas, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, and supporting urgent cleaning tasks as needed. Experience in an industrial or food production setting is preferred, and you should be reliable,

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking

Industrial Cleaner to join our Sodexo team at the

Mars site in Birstall

.

Working within a busy food production environment, you'll play an important role in maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety across the site. This will include cleaning factory and production areas, as well as carrying out high-level and specialist cleaning tasks.

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, a strong approach to health and safety and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out industrial, factory and high-level cleaning to required hygiene standards.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks while minimising disruption to production.
• Use cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any faults, hazards or maintenance issues.
• Follow all Sodexo and site Health & Safety, hygiene and security procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing or food production environment.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good attention to detail with a strong focus on Health & Safety.
• Comfortable working in a busy factory environment and carrying out high-level cleaning.
• A flexible team player who can follow procedures and instructions effectively.
