Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a dedicated cleaning operative to uphold high cleanliness standards across allocated areas in a GMP environment. You will follow SOPs, complete required checklists with sign-off, and carry out regular equipment checks.

You will work with factory teams, wear PPE, and strictly observe GMP, hygiene and Health & Safety requirements. Full training will be provided to ensure confidence with procedures and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to work to strict timelines and follow detailed procedures.
• Willingness to work in isolated areas where required.
• Adherence to GMP dress codes and PPE.
• Proactive and can-do attitude with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across allocated areas.
• Follow SOPs and site instructions.
• Complete cleaning checklists and obtain sign-off.
• Regularly inspect cleaning equipment and report faults.
• Comply with GMP, hygiene, food safety and Health & Safety requirements.
• Report hazards to your Supervisor and work with the team to address them.
• Wear required PPE and follow all procedures.
• Support the wider Sodexo Facilities Management team with a proactive approach.
• Aim to meet targets and maintain quality standards.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across your allocated areas
• Follow relevant work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Complete required cleaning checklists and ensure they are signed off
• Carry out regular checks of cleaning equipment and machinery
• Report any equipment faults or defects to your Supervisor
• Follow all GMP, hygiene, food safety and Health & Safety requirements
• Report hazards or potential risks to your Supervisor
• Follow site procedures and stringent GMP requirements
• Work effectively with Mars associates, colleagues, supervisors and suppliers
• Communicate regularly with other members of the cleaning team and site colleagues
• Attend training sessions and develop your knowledge and skills
• Support the wider Sodexo Facilities Management team with a proactive, can-do approach
• Wear the required PPE and follow all relevant working instructions
• Work towards agreed targets and maintain required standards
• Comply with company, client and statutory requirements; Working to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and site procedures, you'll play an important role in ensuring the factory environment remains clean, safe and compliant. You'll need a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach and a strong can-do attitude.
