Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is hiring a Factory Cleaner to join the Mars site in King’s Lynn on a permanent, full-time basis. You will maintain production areas, offices, kitchens and walkways to high cleanliness and safety standards, supporting a busy manufacturing environment.

The role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals with experience in factory cleaning, knowledge of COSHH, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts across days and nights.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, factory, industrial or similar role.
• Good understanding of workplace hygiene and safety.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
• Reliable with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in food manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling.
• IPAF qualification or previous experience working at height.

Responsibilities

• Clean factory, production, office and communal areas to high hygiene standards
• Complete scheduled general and deep cleaning tasks
• Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with COSHH procedures
• Dispose of waste correctly and maintain clean waste areas
• Follow all Health & Safety, hygiene and PPE requirements
• Report hazards, damage or safety concerns promptly
• Work independently and as part of the wider site team

Job description

Contract: Permanent – Full Time 40 hours per week

Working Pattern: 12 hour shifts: 2x 7:00am to 7:00pm & 2x 7:00pm to 7:00am and 5 days off. 3x 7:00am to 7:00pm and 1 day off. 3x 7:00pm to 7:00am 5 days off.

Rate of Pay: £13.15 per hour

Factory Cleaner to join the Sodexo team working on-site at

Mars in King's Lynn

This is a hands-on cleaning role within a busy manufacturing environment. You will help ensure production areas, offices, kitchens, entrances, walkways and other facilities are maintained to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean factory, production, office and communal areas to high hygiene standards

What We’re Looking For
