Job summary

Landmarc Solutions in Lancaster, England, is hiring a Site Operative to look after training estate facilities. You will clean accommodation blocks, offices and communal areas, and assist with basic grounds and building upkeep to keep the site safe and ready for Armed Forces training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Look after the camps general cleanliness and ensure it is fit for purpose.
• Clean offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks (ablutions, showers, etc).
• Perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming.
• General building maintenance.
• Basic grounds maintenance.
• Stock management tasks.
• Complete all relevant documentation using IT and paper systems.
• Carry out additional duties as needed.

Job Introduction Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

• Salary: £26,875.72 + £1,127.50 Variable Days Allowance
• Location: Halton Training Camp, Lancaster, LA2 6LW
• Contract: Permanent / Full‑time / On-site
• Hours: 07:00 - 23:59 Monday - Sunday

What You’ll Do
