Job summary

Vertas is looking for a part-time cleaning assistant to join the team at Riverwalk SEN School in Bury St Edmunds. You will perform cleaning tasks across classrooms and communal areas, maintaining high standards of hygiene and service for students and staff.

The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work independently, with good communication, and a willingness to adapt to daily changes in a busy school environment. DBS checks may be required.

About the Role:

Based at Riverwalk SEN School, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 2PD, you will be working 12.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri 3pm - 5.30pm, 41 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across classrooms & communal areas
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
