Job summary

Opus People Solutions Limited is hiring for a part-time cleaning role in the West Suffolk area. The successful candidate will cover sites around Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Brandon and Haverhill, with shifts including early mornings and late evenings.

You will maintain high cleanliness standards and assist across classrooms and communal areas. We are seeking someone who can work independently, has good communication, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Able to work independently and efficiently.
• Full Clean Driving Licence is required.

About the Role

Based in the West Suffolk Region (Holiday cover and sickness cover at various sites around Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Brandon, Haverhill and surrounding areas) you will be working 30 hours a week, splits shifts some early mornings and some late evenings. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms


• Wiping down tables and surfaces


• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas


• Hoovering and mopping floors


• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained

• Van & fuel card included along with travel time

Who are we looking for?

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential


• Ability to work independently and efficiently


• A Full Clean Drivers Licence


• Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting


• A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group


• The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind
