Job summary

Vertas is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Facilities Team at Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy, DE22 1JD. The role is 14.42 hours per week, Mon-Thu 3.30pm-6.30pm and Fri 3.30-5.55pm, 43 weeks per year, with deep cleaning during half-terms as needed.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential; you should be able to work independently, communicate well, and maintain high hygiene standards. DBS and other pre-employment checks apply.

About the Role

Based at Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy, DE22 1JD, you will be working 14.42 Hours per week, Mon - Thur 3.30pm - 6.30pm & Fri 3.30 - 5.55pm, 43 weeks per year, so we will require holiday deep cleaning during half terms.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
