Job summary

Anchor Group Services is seeking a part-time Cleaning Operative to join the PIB Leadenhall Street site in London. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 12:00–15:00, totaling 15 hours per week. The role involves cleaning designated areas to a high standard, bin disposal, spill handling, and adherence to H&S and COSHH regulations.

You will use site equipment and chemicals, communicate effectively with clients, and be flexible to cover shifts as needed. A basic DBS check is required prior to starting.

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced cleaner to join the site cleaning team at PIB Leadenhall Street in London.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, have the ability to communicate on all levels and provide flexibility to cover additional shifts, as and when required.

A basic DBS check is required. If you do not already hold a valid basic DBS certificate, you will required to complete a DBS check before starting.

Duties include:

• Cleaning of designated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed, as per the site instructions
  
• Emptying of bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly
  
• Attending to spillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site and staff safety
  
• Following H&S and COSHH regulations
  
• Use of site-specific equipment, machinery and handling chemicals
  
• Proactive interaction with on-site clients and customers, offering superb customer service.
