Job summary

Anchor Group Services in the Oxted area is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitising public toilet facilities, keeping them safe, clean and presentable for visitors.

The role offers Monday to Friday, 07:00–09:00 (10 hours per week) with pay at £14.80 per hour. You will report to the Accounts Manager and work independently with a focus on reliability and high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning environments is preferred.
• Punctual and reliable with good time management.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Access to training via Anchor Academy is available.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise public toilet facilities to a high standard.
• Replenish consumables (toilet paper, soap, hand towels) as required.
• Keep facilities clean, safe and presentable during each shift.
• Carry out routine checks and report maintenance issues or damage.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules.
• Maintain professional conduct at all times.
• Work independently and use initiative to complete tasks.
• Contribute to overall upkeep and appearance of the facility.

Job Role: Cleaning Operative

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Servicesfor a Cleaner to join our team based in Oxted. The successful candidate will be required to carry out a rangeof cleaning duties safely and professionally to a high standard. You must beable to demonstrate good attention to detail, work independently, and maintaina reliable and flexible approach to your responsibilities.

Duties Include:

• Cleaning and sanitising public toilet facilities to a highstandard

• Ensuring the facilities remain clean, safe, and presentablethroughout each shift
