Job summary

BAM is recruiting a cleaner to join our FM segment based at Inclusion Housing in Blackburn. The position is 17.5 hours per week with a 4 on/4 off rolling rota from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.

Paying £12.98 per hour, the role supports cleaning to specification, waste handling, and maintaining hygiene and safety across premises. Training and progression opportunities are provided within a forward-thinking organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is desired but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean in accord with the specification for the premises.
• Clean floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork as appropriate.
• Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas.
• Collect and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Refill and replace consumables.
• Report faulty equipment and other maintenance requirements to appropriate person.
• Lock rooms after cleaning.
• Ensure lights and other equipment are switched off as appropriate.
• Promote and ensure the health and safety of staff and visitors at all times.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and COSHH procedures.
