Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our FM segment based at Inclusion Housing in Blackburn. The role operates on a 4-on/4-off rolling rota from 3:00pm to 8:00pm, totaling 17.5 hours per week.

Pay is £12.98 per hour, with an enhanced family-friendly benefits package. As part of our team, you will clean in accordance with the premises specification, maintain sanitary areas, dispose of waste, restock consumables and report maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is desired but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning in accord with the specification for the premises.
• Clean floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork as appropriate.
• Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas.
• Collecting and appropriate disposing of waste.
• Clean and maintain waste bins.
• Refill and replace consumables.
• Report faulty equipment & other maintenance requirements to appropriate person.
• Lock rooms after cleaning.
• Ensure lights and other equipment are switched off as appropriate.
• Promote and ensure the health and safety of staff & visitors at all times.
• Ensure compliance by self and others with all health and safety policies and COSHH procedures.
