Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to join the team at Nitec Solutions, Antrim. This part-time role offers 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–11am, with full training and uniform provided.

Benefits include 20 days’ pro rata leave, on-site parking, pension, and wellbeing support. You will deliver cleaning across offices and meeting rooms, uphold safety standards, and ensure areas remain clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors preferred
• Customer service experience required
• Basic reading/writing/speaking/listening skills for safety instructions
• Current BICS Qualifications desired

Responsibilities

• Provide high level cleaning services across offices and facilities
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer requirements
• Clean offices, meeting rooms, toilets and site areas
• Replenish stocks and maintain equipment in good order
• Follow company procedures and health and safety rules
• Report hazards or faulty equipment to the Line Manager
• Keep all areas tidy and presentable and compliant with hygiene standards

The Role

• Providing the highest level of Cleaning service within your area of responsibility
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional manner
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets, etc site wide
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines used during hours of work and all the equipment is left clean and in good working order
• Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, or hazards you encounter to your Line Manager
• All offices, toilets, and amenity areas to be presented clean and tidy
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all regulations as necessary
• Report defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces or any other Health and Safety issues to your Line Manager

The Person

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS Qualifications.
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
