Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee a large cleaning team across multiple sites in the Exeter area. The role covers scheduling, audits, safety compliance, and ensuring high cleanliness standards.

You will lead a team, manage consumables, and coordinate with site operatives to maintain efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of supervisory experience, holds a full UK driving licence, and understands COSHH.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience managing cleaners.
• Full UK driving licence held for over 12 months.
• COSHH knowledge and safe chemical handling.
• Good eye for detail and high reliability.
• Trusted, able to work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a large cleaning team, cover sickness and holidays, audits and stock checks.
• Maintain cleaning standards across the site.
• Meet KPI/SLA targets and conduct monthly audits.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for a safe environment.
• Develop strong relationships with operatives.
• Ensure cleanliness of offices, toilets, canteen and warehouse areas.
• Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance.
• Work as part of a team to prepare cinemas for opening.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Cleaning Supervisor,who will work at our client’s prestigious site

This position is an area role and ideal base would be local to the Exeter area.

Covering from Penzance to Midsomer and out to Southampton with 26 sites and 26 employees.

Duties as a Cleaning Supervisor

• Supervising a large cleaning team on a large site which includes covering sickness, holidays, auditing and stock check
• Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained across the site
• Understand KPI/SLA’s and to meet these monthly including audits
• Following health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Ensuring strong working relationship with operatives
• Responsible for cleanliness of site offices and toilets canteen areas, warehouse
  
• Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Working in a timely manner to ensure cinemas are prepared for the public
• Working as part of a team

Job role requirements as a Cleaning Supervisor
