Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our warehouse cleaning team. You will perform general cleaning, tidying and waste management across all areas including washrooms and canteens, using appropriate equipment and products.

• Cleaning and tidying of warehouse areas, including washrooms and canteens.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and products; ensure safety and hygiene.
• React to client call-outs and comply with Health & Safety policies.
• Manage waste disposal as part of the cleaning team.

Job description

Salary: £13.38 / hour

Hours: 12 hours/ day

Shift Pattern: Days 06:30 am to 18:30 pm, Nights 18:30pm-06:30am 4 on / 4 off

Contract: Fixed Term

In your new role as a Cleaning and Waste Operative, you'll be working within a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. Your duties will include general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse including washrooms and canteens. You'll use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and cleaning products. You will ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order. You'll need to react quickly to call-outs from the client and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies (all training will be provided). You will manage waste disposal.
