Job summary

Walsall Council is looking for reliable Cleaners to join our team at several locations within the borough, including Alumwell Infants School and Little Bloxwich Primary School. The role requires experience cleaning commercial buildings and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Hours are part-time with shifts in the afternoons and early mornings, and training on safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Salary G2: £13.48 per hour

About the job -duties will include:

• Deep cleaning
• Using powered equipment as required.

About you:

The successful candidate must have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals/machinery.

You will need to ensure the required standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within our schools and outlying buildings.

You will be expected to follow all operating procedures to ensure that health and safety requirements are maintained at all times.

Details of positions:

Alumwell Infants School

Hours per week: 11.15hrs - Start Time: 3.30pm

(40 x weeks per year)

Little Bloxwich Primary School

Hours per week: 9.30hrs - Start Time: 6.30am

(38 x weeks per year)
