Job summary

Norse Group is recruiting a part-time Cleaner for Tankersley St Peters Primary during term time, with some half-term work. This temp role offers a steady after-school schedule, Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–6:15pm, at 13.75 hours weekly.

You will clean classrooms and common areas, follow health and safety procedures, report any defects, and maintain a tidy on-site environment. DBS check may be required; employer will pay the cost.

Qualifications

• Basic site health & safety knowledge is required.
• Excellent communication skills with clients on-site.
• Able to work independently with initiative.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming).
• Empty bins and clean restrooms; ensure sanitation stations are stocked.
• Build good on-site relationships with clients.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times; report defects or damages.

Rate £12.71 Per Hour

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces,who values responsibility and enjoys working on their own initiative.

You'll be working 13.75 hours per week,Monday to Friday 3:30pm - 6:15pm.

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanities stations are full.
• Building relationships with clients on site.
• Following health and safety at all times.
• Report any defects or damages.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site.
• Confident working independently to your own initiative.
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail.
