Job summary

Norse Group LTD is hiring a part-time Cleaner for Darfield Valley Primary. The role involves cleaning duties including floors, dusting and restrooms, with a 10-hour workweek (Mon–Fri 4:00pm–6:00pm). A DBS check will be required; you will work on-site and support health & safety practices.

The successful candidate will have cleaning experience, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently with strong organisational abilities.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner with previous cleaning or caretaking experience.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with on-site clients.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms: dusting, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming.
• Empty bins, clean restrooms and replenish sanitising stations.
• Build relationships with clients on-site.
• Follow health and safety at all times and report defects or damages.

Join Our Team as a Part-Time Cleaner at Darfield Valley Primary

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces,who values responsibility and enjoys working on their own initiative.

You’ll be working 10 hours per week,Monday to Friday 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.


• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanities stations are full.


• Building relationships with clients on site.


• Following health and safety at all times.


• Report any defects or damages.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety


• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site


• Confident working independently to your own initiative


• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail
