Job summary

Norse Cleaning Division is seeking a Cleaner for Hillcrest Primary School in the Downham Market area. The role covers standard cleaning duties after school hours, with a fixed 5 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, on-site at the school.

You will work closely with school staff to ensure a clean and safe environment, while maintaining on-site client relationships. Flexible to weekends/overtime as required, with opportunities for training, DBS sponsorship, and progression within the cleaning

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or caretaking.
• Knowledge of basic health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills with on-site clients.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning designated areas (mopping, hoovering, wiping down, bins).
• Building relationships with the client on site.
• Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times.
• Reporting any issues or defects on site.

Cleaner -Hillcrest Primary School

£12.71 per hour

Monday to Friday 3.30pm till 4.30pm 5 hours per week

Norse Cleaning Division work in partnership with a number of clients across East Anglia, providing a comprehensive range of professional cleaning services to local schools, public buildings, and communal areas.

The role

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out basic cleaning duties and ensuring high customer satisfaction is achieved. Alongside this you will;

• Cleaning and maintaining designated area's - mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
• Building relationships with the client on site.
• Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times.
• Reporting any issues or defects on site.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site.
• Confident working independently to your own initiative.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable.
