Job summary

Norse Group LTD seeks a part-time Cleaner for Action for Children Thetford to support on-site client satisfaction. You will perform essential cleaning duties, maintain hygienic environments, and report issues as needed.

The role offers consistent weekday evenings and a steady 10-hour weekly schedule. Candidates with prior cleaning or caretaking experience, good communication, and the ability to work independently will excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or caretaking roles preferred.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients on-site.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas: mop, vacuum, wipe surfaces, empty bins.
• Build on-site relationships with the client.
• Carry out routine checks and follow health and safety rules at all times.
• Report any issues or defects on site.

Cleaner - Action for Children Thetford

£12.71 per hour

Monday to Friday 5pm-7pm

We have a successful relationship with Action for Children and we are looking to recruit a Cleaner on a part time basis, you'll be required to work 10 hours per week, Monday - Friday

The role

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out basic cleaning duties and ensuring high customer satisfaction is achieved. Alongside this you will;

• Cleaning and maintaining designated area's - mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
• Building relationships with the client on site.
• Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times.
• Reporting any issues or defects on site.

Our Successful Candidate

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site.
• Confident working independently to your own initiative.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable.
