Job summary

Norse Group is seeking a cleaner for Dereham to perform standard cleaning tasks in a 7.5-hour weekly window. The role is part-time, with duties including maintaining cleanliness, interacting with on-site clients, and upholding health and safety standards.

The successful candidate will have cleaning or caretaking experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Weekend rates and other enhancements may apply, with DBS and training opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a similar role is ideal.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills for on-site liaison with clients.
• Confident working independently using your own initiative.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain designated areas (mopping, hoovering, wiping, bin emptying).
• Build relationships with the client on site.
• Carry out routine checks and follow health and safety at all times.
• Report issues or defects observed on site.

Cleaner – Dereham

£12.71 per hour

Monday to Friday 4pm till 5.30pm - 7.5 hours per week

Norse Cleaning Division work in partnership with a number of clients across East Anglia, providing a comprehensive range of professional cleaning services to local schools, public buildings, and communal areas.

We have a successful relationship with our client in Dereham and we are looking to recruit a Cleaner on a part time basis, Monday to Friday 4pm till 5.30pm - 7.5 hours per week

The role

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out basic cleaning duties and ensuring high customer satisfaction is achieved. Alongside this you will;

• Cleaning and maintaining designated area's - mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
• Building relationships with the client on site
• Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times
• Reporting any issues or defects on site

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable
