Job summary

Hillside Primary School in the Norse Cleaning Division is hiring a part-time Cleaner. You will perform basic cleaning duties to keep classrooms and communal areas tidy, mop floors, hoover, wipe surfaces, empty bins and build a good on-site relationship with the client.

The role is 12 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with weekend enhanced rates. A DBS check is paid by the employer, and you can enjoy uniform provision, flexible patterns and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills with on-site clients.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas: mop, vacuum, wipe surfaces, and empty bins.
• Maintain on-site relationships with the client.
• Perform routine checks and follow health & safety guidance.
• Report issues or defects on site.

Cleaner –Hillside Primary School

Norse Cleaning Division work in partnership with a number of clients across East Anglia, providing a comprehensive range of professional cleaning services to local schools, public buildings, and communal areas.

We have a successful relationship withHillside Primary Schooland we are looking to recruit a Cleaner on a part time basis.

The role

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out basic cleaning duties and ensuring high customer satisfaction is achieved. Alongside this you will;

• Cleaning and maintaining designated area's - mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
• Building relationships with the client on site.
• Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times.
• Reporting any issues or defects on site.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site.
• Confident working independently to your own initiative.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable.
