St Peter's Collegiate Academy in Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our support team. The role ensures classrooms and facilities remain clean and hygienic so students can learn in a safe environment.

The permanent position offers a 24.67 hour week across Monday to Friday with split shifts (6:30–8:30 and 15:30–18:30, with 18:00 finish on Fridays). Training on COSHH and safe cleaning practices provided.

Qualifications

• General cleaning duties including mops, vacuums, and spray cleaning.
• Maintenance of hygiene standards in toilets and facilities to high levels.
• Stripping and resealing hard floors and safe use of cleaning machinery.

Join the dedicated support team at St Peter's Collegiate Academy. As a Cleaner, you play a pivotal role in ensuring our students experience "life in all its fullness" by maintaining a high quality, hygienic learning environment. This is a permanent position offered at £12.65 per hour.

Working Pattern

This role follows a split-shift pattern totalling 24.67 hours per week, Monday to Friday:

• Morning Shift: 6:30am - 8:30am

• Afternoon Shift: 3:30pm - 6:30pm (6.10pm Friday)

Key Responsibilities

Working under the direction of senior staff, you will ensure designated areas are kept in a clean and safe condition. Your duties will include:

• General Cleaning: Mop sweeping, vacuuming, buffing, and spray cleaning.

• Hygiene Standards: Cleaning of toilet facilities, fixtures, and fittings to achieve high standards of cleanliness.
