Byron Wood Academy in Sheffield is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. You will work as part of a site team to keep classrooms, corridors, offices and shared areas hygienic and presentable each day.
The role involves vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, bin collection and reporting issues. It is a part-time role offering 15 hours per week, 3:30pm-6:30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time plus additional agreed weeks.

As a Cleaner at Byron Wood Academy, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Working as part of a supportive site team, you will ensure classrooms, corridors, offices, and shared areas are kept to a high standard of hygiene and presentation each day. The role involves a variety of tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, emptying bins, and reporting any issues around the building. Although much of the work is completed independently, you will be an important part of the wider school community, helping to create a positive atmosphere where children can thrive. We are looking for someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work, and enjoys contributing to the smooth running of a busy primary school.
