Byron Wood Academy is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our site team. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across classrooms, corridors, offices, and shared spaces, with tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, and waste disposal. Working 15 hours per week, Mon-Fri 3:30pm-6:30pm, term-time plus additional weeks.

As a Cleaner at Byron Wood Academy, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Working as part of a supportive site team, you will ensure classrooms, corridors, offices, and shared areas are kept to a high standard of hygiene and presentation each day. The role involves a variety of tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, emptying bins, and reporting any issues around the building. Although much of the work is completed independently, you will be an important part of the wider school community, helping to create a positive atmosphere where children can thrive. We are looking for someone who is reliable, takes pride in their work, and enjoys contributing to the smooth running of a busy primary school.
