Job summary

Minerva Learning Trust in England is advertising a part-time cleaning role at our school site. The post is 11 hours per week, 42 weeks per year, with NJC Grade 1, Point 3 – £24,796 gross per annum pro rata.

The actual annual salary for staff with under 5 years of service is £6,828.47, and the closing date is 9am on Thursday 24 September 2026; interviews will be held on Tuesday 29 September 2026. A DBS check and safeguarding commitment apply.

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the area/sites allocated.
• Be aware of the conditions associated with cleaning of allocated areas and site users, and work to Health and Safety rules.
• Use appropriate equipment, materials, tools and machinery to ensure the job is done effectively.
• Liaise with site staff, supervisors and line managers as required.

Contract: Part-time, Permanent, 11 hours, 42 weeks per year

The cleaning role will be to provide a comprehensive cleaning service to the school site. You must be able to:

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the area/sites allocated.
• Be aware of the conditions associated with the cleaning of your allocated areas related to the school/site users and to work to the appropriate Health and Safety rules and processes.
• Use the appropriate equipment, materials, tools and machinery to ensure the job is done effectively.
• Liaise with site staff, supervisors and line managers as required.

The closing date is 9am on Thursday 24 th September 2026 at 9am and interviews will take placeon Tuesday 29 th September 2026.
