Job summary

Ham Drive Nursery School and Day Care in Plymouth is seeking a hard-working cleaner to join our small cleaning team on a fixed-term basis.

You will perform routine cleaning duties across the school to keep learning areas and staff spaces hygienic, safe and welcoming for children. The role is 6 months and requires reliability, initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning duties and knowledge of best practices in cleaning.

Job description

We are looking to appoint a hard working and dedicated cleaner to join the small team of cleaning staff who manage the cleanliness needs of our friendly nursery school and day care.This position is fixed term (6 months).

You will work as part of the team, undertaking various cleaning duties throughout the school to ensure our children’s learning environment and staff work place is always clean.

Successful candidates will have:

Essential:

• Experience in cleaning duties and knowledge of best practices in cleaning
• Ability to work under own initiative with limited supervision
• Awareness of the importance of providing a quality service and satisfying the cleaning requirements of the school

• Level 2 cleaning qualification
