Job summary

Realise Education is seeking a School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across school premises, providing a safe learning environment for children and staff.

You will perform cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas, and ensure waste is disposed of safely, while following health & safety procedures. DBS check will be required for safeguarding purposes and the role offers a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and health & safety guidelines.
• Friendly and trustworthy, with a professional attitude.

Role Overview

As a School Cleaner, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the school premises, ensuring a safe and pleasant learning environment for children and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces
• Cleaning toilets and replenishing hygiene supplies
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Securing areas of the school as required at the end of shifts

About You
