Serco Leisure is recruiting a Cleaner at The Rebecca Adlington Centre in Mansfield to help maintain a welcoming, safe environment for visitors and staff. The role is part-time, 16 hours per week, with early morning shifts across Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the building at all times.
• Carry out cleaning duties safely, following health and safety procedures and COSHH requirements.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete all required checklists accurately.
• Report cleaning issues or maintenance concerns to the manager.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and notify the line manager when replenishment is needed.
• Inspect, use, clean and store cleaning equipment safely and contribute to good housekeeping.

Hourly Rate: £8 to £12.71 per hour plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Permanent, Part-time, 16 hours per week, Monday/Wednesday/Friday 6am to 10am, Saturday 6.30am to 10.30am

What You’ll Do As a Cleaner

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the building at all times
• Carry out cleaning duties safely, following all health and safety procedures and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) requirements
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete all required checklists accurately
• Report any cleaning issues, maintenance concerns, or areas requiring attention to the appropriate manager
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and notify the line manager when replenishment is needed
• Inspect, use, clean, and store cleaning equipment safely, while contributing to good housekeeping and sustainability practices

Vetting And Checks

A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
