Job summary

Leisure Solutions Community Trust is hiring a Cleaner at South Charnwood Leisure Centre in Syston, LE7 1LY. The role offers an hourly rate of £10.85–£12.71 with a permanent, part-time schedule (16 hours per week) across Monday 12pm–4pm and Tue–Fri 1pm–4pm.

You’ll maintain high cleanliness standards, follow COSHH and safety procedures, and work with a friendly team to support the wellbeing of local communities. Benefits include gym access, DBS checks, and more.

• Experience in a cleaning role or the ability to demonstrate the skills required to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the building at all times
• Carry out cleaning duties safely, following all health and safety procedures and COSHH requirements
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete all required checklists accurately
• Report any cleaning issues, maintenance concerns, or areas requiring attention to the appropriate manager
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and notify the line manager when replenishment is needed
• Inspect, use, clean, and store cleaning equipment safely, while contributing to good housekeeping and sustainability practices
