Job summary

Leisure Solutions Community Trust is recruiting a Cleaner through Serco at Bletchley Leisure Centre, MK2 2HQ. This part-time role is 10 hours per week with specific shifts in the evenings and weekends.

You will maintain high cleanliness standards, follow health and safety procedures and COSHH requirements, and report any issues to the line manager. You’ll help keep facilities welcoming and safe for visitors and staff.

Schedule:Permanent, Part-time, 10 hours per week, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 4.30pm to 6.30pm, Saturday 8.30am to 10.30am, Sunday 9.30am to 11.30am

As a Cleaner, you'll help create a welcoming environment where people can enjoy leisure activities safely and comfortably. Your work will directly support the wellbeing of local communities by maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility, helping visitors and employees feel confident, cared for, and proud of the spaces they use.

What you'll do as a Cleaner

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the building at all times


• Carry out cleaning duties safely, following all health and safety procedures and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) requirements


• Follow cleaning schedules and complete all required checklists accurately


• Report any cleaning issues, maintenance concerns, or areas requiring attention to the appropriate manager


• Monitor cleaning stock levels and notify the line manager when replenishment is needed


• Inspect, use, clean, and store cleaning equipment safely, while contributing to good housekeeping and sustainability practices
